PRODUCTION PROCESSES

La pultrusione

is a process for the continuous manufacture of continuous section sections made of thermosetting plastic material reinforced with glass fibers. The processing technique is to pass through reinforced fibers impregnated with a liquid resin through a steel strip, where they are brought to the temperature at which the polymer component reacts irreversibly assuming a typical three-dimensional structure (cross-linking).

The process is governed by the action of a continuous traction force; which pulls the polymerized profile continuously. Pultrusion reproduces what is happening in a classic chemical reactor, where a substance enters a state and comes out transformed.

Hand Lay-up

consists of the alternate polyester resin and fibers in layers.

The number, type and layout of fabrics are designed to guarantee the desired mechanical, physical and dimensional characteristics.

The process takes place on a carefully designed surface, which will give the shape required for the product.
